Buckle J is a property development company that primarily invests in BJC Real Estate Development. Our aim is to add value to multifamily residential properties or blocks of flats located in various cities within the UK.

Both existing and new constructions are being built to support the target of achieving net zero emissions, which will result in reducing carbon footprint.

   Buckle J is a company that develops properties and makes investments. We are located in Gosport. The company initially started with providing serviced                 accommodation in Andover, Hampshire, but we have now expanded our operations to include blocks of flats. Our main focus is acquiring existing blocks of          flats and renovating them to a high standard. This includes opportunities in residential and commercial sectors, among others. Between 2021 and 2023, the          company’s serviced accommodation division received the prestigious Traveller Review Awards from Booking.com for our professionalism in offering high-            quality properties to guests. In 2020, Buckle J was also nominated by Whitebox Property Solutions for the creation of an Investor Pack, which was recognized           for its content.

OUR MISSION

   At Buckle J, our mission is to rejuvenate properties in order to provide comfort and convenience to our tenants. This is accomplished by offering Ultra High       Net Worth (UHNW) investors and Family Offices the opportunity to invest in the acquisition of blocks of flats, providing returns above the market rate on           their capital. All our real estate developments will prioritise eco-efficiency.

STRATEGY

We purchase blocks of flats or multifamily apartments that need renovation. After renovation, these blocks are either sold or leased out. All the flats we purchase will have a higher energy performance certificate rating (EPC A) in order to reduce energy bills and contribute to reducing our carbon footprint. We are looking for properties in locations that meet the following criteria:

  • Demographic affluence
  • Population density 
  • Presence of demand generators 
  • Desirable physical layout that can be refurbished to maximize value.

Richmond began his career as an analyst at the Royal Bank of Scotland, where he gained 10 years of banking experience. He also worked as a Relationship Manager for an Investment Bank located in Canary Wharf, London. His clients included the top 10 FTSE insurance companies, and he managed the London Irrevocable Payment Scheme (LIPS) valued at over £10 million on his own. Additionally, Richmond has property investments in various areas such as split-title block of flats, Buy to Let properties, and service accommodations worth more than £1 million. He is passionate about providing social housing and is dedicated to offering exceptional service to his investors, tenants, and local councils.
